Yesterday I went with Ellen to the Kraftwerk cover show at Littlefield. It was really fun, and I very much enjoyed the awkward instrumentation and serious faces everyone gave, but when Kim Gordon went on last for the cover of “Heavy Metal Kids,” I became riveted on a guy in front of me, who honed in on her with his iPhone camera. He had a tight shot on her the whole time. What does it mean to have a video of only Kim Gordon? I also love this song and video.
